Overview

Automated Solutions’ OPC Servers offer the most reliable, cost effective and comprehensive features list available in the OPC/HMI market today. Our servers are compatible with all local and remote OPC Clients such as major HMI applications, SCADA systems, ActiveX Controls, and custom built (VB, VC++, etc.) applications.

Our servers offer unmatched configuration capability with an exclusive universal tag database import feature that allows end users to automatically import/export tags directly from/to their PLC programming software or third party HMI application. 

Our unique read/write tag optimization algorithms provide unmatched data transfer speeds between OPC Server and hardware devices.  

Automated Solutions' OPC Servers have all passed the OPC Foundation's OPC Data Access 2.05a Compliance test.

All servers include comprehensive, context-sensitive help systems, Visual Basic OPC Client example application with VB source code, and a pre-built client executable.

Compatible With HMI/SCADA Packages

Automated Solutions Data Access Servers can be used as a data server to most major HMI and SCADA packages.

We have tested the servers with the following packages:

  • Wonderware InTouch
  • Intellution iFix
  • Rockwell Software RSView32
  • GE Cimplicity

Our online help system will guide you through configuration in each of these packages.

This is just a small list of HMI/SCADA applications that have been used with Automated Solutions' servers. Most modern HMI/SCADA applications are OPC compatible and will also work with our servers.

Compatible with Most Development Platforms

Automated Solutions' servers support both the custom and automation interfaces. This ensures compatibility with most major development platforms. 

We have tested the servers with the following packages:

  • Visual Basic
  • Visual C++

With each server, we provide a Visual Basic client application and complete source code demonstrating OPC Client calls.

This is just a small list of development platforms that have been used with Automated Solutions' servers. Most modern development platforms should be able to access our servers through the OPC Client Automation or Custom interface.
